India Initiative

A small but dynamic and far-reaching, indigenous ministry in India focusing on training and helping hundreds of native pastors. We have invested in this larger ministry and have been able to personally help over 50 native pastors. Our support has helped provide a variety of non-financial, holistic assistance to these pastors and their families–including disciple-making training, BibleTelling training, funding for bicycles and lights for ministry outreach, small business training, funding for mosquito nets and water filters, community health education, Bible study materials, and some relief from diseases and persecution. Nathan and Joanna are currently serving with Wycliffe in France with plans to be in Africa within a year r to do linguistic development with native language groups.  Currently, they are facing significant additional expenses to get to Africa including the need to purchase 4-wheel drive vehicle. Craig and Alice Ott 

Craig Ott is associate professor of mission and intercultural studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. He occupies the ReachGlobal Chair of Mission, which was established to better link the mission agency and seminary, integrating mission theory and practice.  After twenty-one years of missionary experience with ReachGlobal (formerly the EFCA International Mission) in Germany as a church planter, consultant, and theological educator, he joined the Trinity faculty in 2002. His particular fields of expertise include church planting, contextualization, and theology of mission.

 



Tom and Nancy Schneider

Tom and Nancy serve with Wycliffe.  Nancy started a new position at Wycliffe in January 2010.
