Rick Wagner – Lead Pastor

- Overall church vision and leadership
- Primary Teaching Pastor
- Oversees and leads ministry staff
- Serves on elder team
“After coming to faith in Christ in college, something deep inside me knew that I was to give my life in helping others know Jesus. I have a great desire to help foster a church that is irresistible and relevant in today’s world – reaching out and touching people in our community.”
Rick began at E-Free in 1997 as an associate pastor, then accepted the call to become Senior Pastor in 1999.
Brett Miley – Associate Pastor
Areas of Responsibility:
- Oversees Children’s Ministry (Birth–5 th Grade) and Family Ministry
- Manages church budget process
- Teaches new members class
- Serves on elder and ministry staff teams
“E-Free emphasizes the opportunity for people outside the church to experience God personally, but also challenges people inside the church to experience God intimately.”
Brett did his seminary internship at E-Free from 2003-2004, then became Pastor of Children & Family Ministries in 2005.
Bill White – Associate Pastor
Areas of Responsibility:
- Oversees Junior High Ministry (6th-8th Grade)
- Oversees Senior High Ministry (9th – 12th Grade)
- Oversees Website, Baptisms & Adult Classes
- Serves on elder and ministry staff teams

After six years of serving as a Pastor in Colorado, Bill was called to join the E-Free team as the Pastor of Youth in 2008.
Stu Hackman – Small Groups Director
Areas of Responsibility
- Oversees Small Groups
- Serves as part of the ministry staff team

After serving as a volunteer in many capacities at E-Free for 20 years, Stu became the Small Groups Director in 2001.
Julie Ryan – Involvement Director
Areas of Responsibility
- Oversees Guest Services, Serving and Communication
- Oversees Reach Global – Missions
- Serves as part of the ministry staff team

After serving as a volunteer in the Women’s Ministry for 3 years, Julie served as the Women’s Ministry Director from 2003-2011. She became the Involvement Director in 2011.
Peggy Drake – Office/Facilities Manager
Areas of Responsibility:
- Oversees daily operations
- Oversees office staff and maintenance staff
- Oversees facility usage and maintenance
- Wedding coordinator

Peggy has worked at E-Free since 1989, starting as the church’s only secretary. Her duties have greatly expanded, including managing the great team of secretaries.
Connie Unruh – Financial Secretary
Areas of Responsibility
- Oversees finances for church
- Responsible for financial statements
“E-Free is a place where people are growing in their walk with the Lord, and it is exciting for me to see people mature in their faith and serve the Lord!”
Connie has attended E-Free since 2004, and has worked at E-Free since 2010.
Shelley Monteith – Administrative Assistant: Assimilation
Area of Responsibility:
- Track attendance, statistics, and membership
- Maintain church database
- General office duties
“We were looking for a new church home and God brought us to E-Free in 2009. I was looking for a part-time job and there was an opening here in the office. I feel God brought me here and E-Free has become my family. It is such a warm and friendly place to be.”
Shelley has attended E-Free since 2009, and has worked at E-Free since 2010.
Karen Estes – Administrative Assistant: Communications
Area of Responsibility:
- Maintain church website
- Prepare and execute communications and promotions
- Format church bulletins and announcement slides
- General office duties
“I was invited to E-Free in 1999, and dedicated my life to become a Christ-follower at this church! I love coming to work and being able to use my spiritual gifts for the glory of God.”
Karen has attended E-Free since 1999, and has worked at E-Free since 2010.
Karen Mercer – Early Childhood Assistant
Area of Responsibility:
- Oversees volunteer communications for Children’s Ministries
- Designs and manages promotions and marketing for children’s events
- Maintains attendance records for Children’s Ministries
- General office duties

Karen has attended E-Free since 2000. She worked at E-Free from 2007-2008, and again starting in 2011.
