S.O.S. offers women the opportunity for connecting with one another, prayer support, and Bible study. Different electives are offered each Fall, Spring, and Summer and cover a range of topics. Sessions meet on Thursday mornings as well as Tuesday evenings. The only fee required is for the cost of the materials, and childcare payments, if necessary. Scholarship monies for books and childcare may be available.

SOS Electives -- Fall 2010

Breaking Free logo copyBreaking Free:  The Journey The Stories by Beth Moore uses Scripture to help identify spiritual strongholds in your life, no matter how big or small, to explain that anything that hinders us from the benefits of knowing God is bondage.  God intends for you to know and believe Him, glorify Him, experience His peace, and enjoy His presence.  This elective is offered in both evening & day sessions.

Captivating logoCaptivating by John & Stasi Eldredge invites women to recover their feminine hearts, by revealing the core desires every woman shares -- to be romanced, to play an irreplaceable role in a grand adventure, and to unveil beauty.  The study encourages women to recover their feminine hearts that were created in the image of an intimate and passionate God.  Meets as part of the Mom's Bible Study group on Thursday mornings.

MOPS copy1MOPS -- Mothers of Preschoolers.  MOPS is a place to find friendship, community, resources and support for you as a woman and mother so you're not alone.  Meets Thursday mornings starting September 9th.
