Young Adults

The Young Adult Ministry at EFC is a community of people aged 18 -30s. Our community includes those who are in college, out of college, single, married, & married with kids. Our current structure consists of 3 small groups divided by age and life stage. Each small group meets weekly for fellowship & to grow in their understanding of how to live life by looking at Scripture for answers. Throughout the year, each group comes together for fun, fellowship, worship, and connection.

Purpose

Our goal is to continue EFC's mission to Serve, Reach, and Grow people in Jesus Christ. Our hope is to create an environment where Young Adults can grow in their faith, form deep friendships, engage in serving our community, connect with younger and older members from our church, and find healing.

Groups

The Breakfast Club

We are a group of young families that meet Thursday nights from 7:30 – 9:00 PM over Zoom.  Our discussions have included studying specific books of the bible as well as topical series related to marriage, parenting, and other life topics.  This group is led by Paul and Samantha Schulz.

The Collective

The Collective is a dynamic small group for young adults, welcoming both singles and couples. Our mission is to cultivate community within E-Free Church even when doing so is difficult, through Bible studies, life discussions, and simply hanging out. Our serving specialty is helping people move, but we are always open to other opportunities.

We meet roughly from 7-8:30 pm on Monday nights. Due to Covid, we continue to meet virtually over Zoom, but we anticipate resuming in-person gatherings soon at our home in Normal.

Our doors are always open to new members! If you’re interested in visiting/joining our group, please reach out to group leaders Evan and Sarah Stalter (contact info below). We look forward to hearing from you!
